In general, the best place to photograph your pet is in a familiar environment, such as your home or yard. As an alternative, you may choose a favorite trail or an outdoor scenic spot.

I do close-up head shots, full body, and action shots whenever possible. Because I recognize the special connection between you and your pet I invite you to join in the fun, too.

 Schedule a Shoot
Please keep your pet’s energy level in mind when scheduling an appointment. If you have an active pet, the best time may be after he/she has had some exercise and is more likely to be cooperative. If your pet is elderly, the energy level may be best after resting.

 Review and Selection
All images from the portrait session will be presented online. If you require assistance with the selection process I would be happy to offer suggestions. Also, you may request a one-time, in-person editing session.

 Post-production Processing
The real creative work begins with computer processing. Your favorite shots are evaluated and processed for high dynamic range, extending the highlight-to-shadow details to their maximum. Other technical fixes may be applied: adjusting color and contrast, removal of unwanted details, and/or combining two or more photographs into one.

I recommend the Graphic Art style for the final images however all decisions are yours to make.

Prices start at $150 and include one pet and two finalized pictures. All pricing applies to locations within 50 miles of Arvada, CO. We will travel farther however the cost will vary according to distance.

After scheduling an appointment you will receive an email confirming the details. A 50% deposit is required to hold the time; the balance is due on or before the day of the photo session.

It’s fun. It’s easy. Let’s talk.
